Some foreigners no longer need a PCR certificate to enter Kazakhstan.

09/06/2021

The Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 3, 2021 amended the requirement of PCR-spavki for entry into Kazakhstan.

The changes primarily affected foreigners who have a work visa, temporary residence permit or residence permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now these persons are not required to present a PCR certificate when entering Kazakhstan, BUT! Only if they were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A foreigner will be able to enter the country only if they have a passport or a certificate of vaccination. (If there is no PCR test). Naturally, if a foreigner has received a vaccination in another country, he still needs a PCR certificate with a negative result to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To obtain a work visa, temporary residence permit or residence permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan, you can always contact LSP for help and detailed advice.
